Asterina star problem? The Nardoa or Jewel starfish is known to eat them. Being an omnivore, it will not starve after the asterinas are gone. Mine has not touched any coral, and although I have found that the Nardoa eat the Asterina I really have not seen the numbers diminishing. It's a cool looking star though!

Mared blue linkia have been documented to eat them too.
