Starry Blenny being rude

Hello,

Starry blenny bumped and tipped a recently added snail few times and eventually died.
Also seen him knock out frags on purpose- not pecking on algae.
Anyone with a similar experience?
I will have to donate him/her.
I thought Starry is peaceful.

Lol they are peaceful (normally). Some have a desire to rearrange things. That's all.

Never had that problem with mine. The only issue I had was that when I turned off powerheads to feed, he'd perch in the powerhead. Had to check his location when I was ready to turn them back on. Otherwise, very peaceful and with a personality. Never bothered anything.

That's what I have read too. Not sure why he became like this :( had a Lawnmower before and no issues.
I hope he would not harm the other fishes in the tank.

Any blenny will defend their favorite perch and cover, though usually it isn't very bad.

Moving frags and snails from their favorite locaions is normal, and in the wild, pretty important to do.

Oh the issues!
My Starry Blenny ... Mr Cutie is a lil' terror!
Believe me, I wouldn't trade him for the world ... by far my favorite in the tank but he moves plugs in the sand, tosses plugs off the frag rack, aggravates my BTA and harasses the snails and hermits! There is particular hole that he likes to get his lil' butt into on the frag rack (I had totally forgot), well I put my new baby jawbreaker in that hole and out of the corner of my eye I see him politely:confused: remove it, toss off the rack and wiggle himself into his favorite spot!! As you can see in the 2nd pic he then proceeds to look at me as to say ... 'What'??!?!?! :confused::mad::eek::rolleyes:

Yeah they are feisty and have an attitude. Mine ran my nano. Just got a new one yesterday, wife misses good ol' Benny:D

Our starry has been a complete terror by all accounts including unrelenting chasing of 2 fish to their deaths - a exquisite fairy wrasse and a midas blenny. Since we moved him into the new tank, he's subdued a bit but he still gets in tiffs with the watchman goby every once and a while where he "slaps the sand" in front of the DWG. So that's a long way of saying your mileage may vary ;)

I love that lil' guy but his attitude amazes me sometimes!!! :confused:
I was just feeding him, he eats out my fingers and soon as his fat butt had his fill went over and knocked a Halloween hermit off a rock! He is not nice!!!:mad:

I have a bicolor blenny that is the meanest one in the tank. Hes with a 6 line wrasse, a clownfish, and an orchid dottyback. and HES THE MEAN ONE!
