Hello, All.
Currently I have a 40g cube display LPS dominated reef tank. I am thinking about adding a starry blenny but I want to make sure it gets along with my other fish.

Currently I have:
2 ocellaris clowns
1 royal gramma
1 midas blenny
1 six line wrasse.

Notes:
The six line (Poppy) was the last added but she is very nice, almost a little timid. But I have heard they can be mean to new fish.

The Midas blenny is a blenny too, but as it is not as much of a bottom dweller I have heard that it should get along with the Starry.

I would love to hear everyone's opinion on how they think adding the starry would go.

Thanks!

Keep in mind, Starry's get big and "boisterous". Mine is a jerk quite often and he's almost 7".

Hi, I have a starry blenny together with two clowns, a royal gramma, a yasha goby, a Randall pistol shrimp, and a fire red shrimp on a 60 gallon cube.
The starry blenny is one of my favorites, first is the yasha goby.
He is a good eater and is very active.

How long have you had him? I'm worried they get too big. Some others have suggested I'll need a bigger tank.

i am also curious if a midas and starry will fight. I have a midas and tailspot in my 40G and they’re peaceful for the most part, till it’s time to eat, then the midas is an a**hole so i assume adding a starry wouldn’t do any good unfortunately.

For about a month. He is probably 3” long. So far everyone is getting along fine. I don’t see any signs of aggression. If I see any I’ll report it here.

I have one in a 32 biocube for now. I have lots of rock and places for him to perch and he gets along with everyone!
