Hi everyone,
I'm from a small EU country Slovenia. I work in waste business and my passion is waste water reuse. When I started my first fresh water tank many years ago it was also a learning project and testing ground for different filters, filter media, hydraulics, alternative cleaning methods and more. When my work took me all over EU and later overseas I gave my tanks away for free to new enthusiasts.

In 2015 my wife purchased used 500 liter tank for which I thought is way to big for our then work in progress home so I took it to a specialist to make it smaller.
In late 2019 I ordered a stand for our tank which was sitting in our empty room for years now and yesterday I picked it up:) Due to more time on my hands at the moment.

I have some dry live rock which I received as a gift from my friend few years back and it was treated in acid and thoroughly cleaned afterwards. In the next few days we will begin aquascaping and choosing the right location for our reef. Tank was cut to fit on the shelf as can be seen in the picture and stand was also made to fit there. Not sure about it now...

There will be no sump, just frequent water changes. I think (forgot exact dimension) tank volume is little less than 120l. I will start with glass top just because we completely renovated the whole floor due to extensive water and moisture damage and I don't want to go through that again. At least not in next 10 years. I have read this and other forums front to back and I'm aware of 'consequences' of my decisions. I will see how everything will take off and go from there. And I still have to decide which light to choose.

Plan is to have some Nemos (wife's choice) nad few easy corals. Any suggestions on livestock and corals?

I need some ideas for powerhead placement and filtration.
