Stock Pump too strong for clown fish?

I just bought an IM 14g Nano tank which came with the stock pump "MightyJet 15W/24V 326 GPH DC Return Pump w/ Controller". I have two juvenile clown fish but the flow seems too strong, as if the fish swim but stay in one spot and get pushed around by the flow. Should I replace the pump with something that won't create such a strong flow?

You should be able to dial back the pump speed with the controller if the flow seems to much.

Can’t see the pic but can’t you aim the flow towards the surface or something.

I did try aiming one arm to the surface, but the other arm towards the middle. I was worried aiming both towards the surface would create dead spots, but perhaps the tank is too small for worries like that?

Oh, wow. Im suprised its creating that much flow on that setting. I have mine up at 1.6 with a half inch random flow generator on the return. When my clown wants to cruise the suft, hes goes out into the flow. When not, he'll go back toward the return where the water doesn't have so much movement. MIne is aimed slightly upward toward the middle of the front glass.

Your fish do seem to be struggling little with the flow, but I would tink they could find a calm spot if they wanted to. Which part of the tank do they sleep?

Mine do that all the time. They get right in the flow of my wavemaker and swim, then they will stop and let themselves be pushed some. I had always thought they were playing.

They've been sleeping under the arch of the liverock, but don't lay on the sand to sleep like I've seen others do, they still seem like they're swimming still when sleeling. They also sometimes hang out under the return pump so it does seem like they find calm spots.
