Got my big 10ft x 3ft x30ish" tall aquarium going. Curious as to what you all would stock it with if you had the size! I might set off the tang police with this one but I want all the tangs you could dream of with some filler fish, wrasses, gobies, anthias, maybe a couple angels, blue throat pair, clowns.

Stocking list sofar (not all currently in the tank, some are on order, some are in, some are in my 180):

Tangs:
Achilles
Powder Brown
Powder Blue
Atlantic Blue
Orange Shoulder
Tennenti
Clown
Purple
Desjardini
Scopas
Tomini
Blonde Naso
Blue Eye Tang
Hippo

Triggers:
Blue Jaw male
Blue Jaw female

Gobies:
Diamond x 3
Red scooter
Watchman
Brown Scooter

Angels:
Coral Beauty

Wrasses:
Melanurus
Flasher Wrasse x 2
Yellow Coris

Damsels:
Lemon Drop x 3
Springeri

I'd love to one day add a school of yellow tangs into the tank, a sohal, and a gem but feel like I'm already going a bit crazy, but I've seen crazier

These are not suggestions to go and buy, but the bigger boys I would consider to stock the tank with.

emperor angelfish
Moorish idol
Small school of convict tangs
Porcupine pufferfish
Lunar wrasse
Regal angel
Sohal tang

Out of curiosity how much rock and equipment is in the display? Sounds like a lot but space fills up pretty quickly. A couple of those fish on the list get rather large not to mention their behavior. Not a police issue but rather providing ample space for swim lanes, sleeping, and retreating / breaking LOS.

Good luck.

Thanks, as I mentioned no judging here or police thoughts. The reason for asking, and my original reply, was nothing more to say maybe try and visualize the estimated final size of the fish vs your aquascape. Reef structure and later coral colonies.

While not on the same scale as you, 210 gallons in my case, I have a couple of large fish that struggle a bit after lights out. They are captive bred, raised, and introduced around the same time I added some Acropora frags. As both grew the frags turned into colonies which took up space that I did not account for. Gold Lined Rabbitfish is a monster...but chill.

Sounds great btw - good luck!
