Yeah definitely leaning towards brook here with secondary bacterial issues.

Here is a good video on rally bath setup for you...

So if I’ve already been treating with rally for a number of days, is this still the right course of action? How do I know when it’s working and when to stop?

90 minute Rally baths specifically are beneficial for providing additional relief when treating brook. This is in conjunction with treating metro in Display as the main event.

This is a good thread buy humblefish that you should review.

Just read. What is the difference in the baths and the treatment of the QT? The treatment of the QT is providing the same amount of medicine for longer periods of time, right?

Add 6 tsp of reef rally per 10 gallons of total water volume in QT vs. 1 tsp per gallon, so it is higher dosage in the bath. It's also better to conduct baths separately while treating metro in display to avoid mixing medications. Less stress on the fish for sure.

Unfortunately one of the clowns didn’t make it. The other one is still doing well though. I went ahead and completely changed the water this morning so I could start doing just metro in the QT and giving rally baths. He took a 90 minute bath and went into the fresh water!

Sorry to hear about your loss. He looked in bbad shape and i know you were trying everything possible to save him. Keep us posted if you need anything else.

Sadly nothing I did seemed to help. The other one should make it. Hopefully I see some improvement
