can you freakin belive this!! The two guys you'll see on the card are guys I know, one on the left worked at my LFS before I had to close it because it was brook into and $20,000 worth of equipment was stollen. And I was accused of insurance freud, fallowed by a PI for months and $1000s worth of attorny fees, finally was to much and had to close with much debet. After I started the BIZ with $10,000 only of my personal money, I just couldn't go on, cause at the time I couldn't figure out how I was not being profitable, I am betting now I know why!!

That's a shame :( The worst part (IMO) is that the animals stolen, especially the toucans, require a very specific diet and it is quite unlikely that the people that stole the animals would be knowledgeable enough to feed the animals appropriately. Hopefully the animals are all in good health and did not suffer too much from the stupidity of a few idiots.

Brent You need to contact the police. When they executed the warrant they might have found some of your equipment. If they found a single peice you could sue them and put a lein on their house...

I agree with this statement, it might lead to other things that these guys have done. If anything you could add to their eventual jail time......Won't bring back the shop though.

reaching national news now!! I am sooo frekaing errked today about this, these guy use to tell me they were going to Fla, and I wondered how in the world they could afford it and visiting all these zoos and National aquariums, apparently the tucons were from a ladies places in Fla.

recently they came out to my house and picked up some tanks that I had and I have never been fully paid for them!! Maybe I can at least get them back?

oH guys thanks I tried contacting the PD, but only could leave and email and a phone message.
Here is the problem als if they do find my stuff which I doubt anything from the biz, but if they did the insurance co. would want to be reembursed and I have none of that $$ left it was all used at teh end of the shop to try and pay off as many bills as possible before bankruptcy. ANd what am I gonna do with a bunch of tanks know, sell them online? NO?

:hammer: :hammer: :hammer: Crazy how things come around, the one guy pretty much stole a client from me also. The Lawer that help me with the break in and the insurance co. made me go talk to there lawyer with a court reporter (under oath) there to record everything. anyway he went with me and after the store closed I was supposed to clean his tank for $$ and he snaked in a took him from me and actually made some issues with me and my lawer friend so we hadn't talked in a long time. I felt compeled to call him today and ask if he needed some Help w/ his tank since his not so reliaple fish guy was not gonna be around for a bit, and he actually said "that would be great!" Whohooo so somethin good coming of it.

He also stated that the guy would probably have to go to court in multiply courts and have to deal with exotic animal licensing that he didn't have which will probably be a fedral case, then be extradidet from MI to FLA to do it all over again for the 6 Tucons that were $30,000 each down there!! LOL :hammer: :hammer: :hammer: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
