Stop the crud

When restarting return pump I get a lot of crud from the pipe.
How to stop this?
Do I need hard plumbing?
Assume its some form of algae growing inside clear silicone tubing?
Or it's building up inside your pump.

I consider it nutrient export, if you are mechanically filtering.
