I think its converts to about 465 USD. I found another Chinese site selling the large one at about 750

i checked in yen to usd, and that's what i got after conversion lol. makes more sense is its closer to 750$ which is still more affordable than the regular straton's.

You sure you meant Yen? Yen is Japanese currency.

Knockoff in appearance or substance? Useless if LED of questionable quality or spectrum. Probably not the same power supple. Get what you pay for and I'd be cautious and not going to be the first guinea pig.

This company is called kassray, and they also make a clone version of the XR30. The price looks good though

Only way to find out if these clones are exact versions being side by side comparison of components used. Just because you put the same shell on something doesn't guarantee it performs like that something. Might burn your house down, cause headaches getting software to work or provide inadequate performance causing distress to life one painstakingly propagated.

I like the Straton and Phillips Gen 2's passive cooling design. How both translated to spread, spectrum, and PAR I don't know. With both "named brands" had a lower price point though.

I want coverage and these seem to fit the bill for my tank.. I can cover my tank with 3 for $1500 or 4 if I’m feeling feisty for 2k.. if I used reefi I’m looking at 4k or even the Meridans from reef breeders have caught my eye but again $3,400 for 2 of them to cover my tank. I tried radions and hated them! I really like these and if it’s truly cree LEDs it should rock! That’s all I used many years ago to make a few fixtures before they sold them on the market like today!

Forgot to add I do like the quanta atlas and it’s priced right! Only thing about them is the colors aren’t changeable it’s like my halides it’s all or nothing but it is dimmable’

I just ordered a t90 the smallest version for my macroalgae tank for about 150 bucks and 35 bucks extra for the mount kit. From what I read.. it uses some cree led and some epiled or whatever it is called. Upon it's arrival I will check the par value on the light. Doubt it has the ATI functions like separate settings for different section of the light tho. I like the sleek look and if it's half as good as the ATI, I will be a happy man.

I've ordered the T169 and received it last week. Built quality is really good, also the light is very close to the Stratons.
Yet the wifi control isn't working reliably. Not even reliably enough to set it up.
The power converter is making loud noises after a while, louder than my skimmer.

I'm in the process of returning it unfortunately.

Does your internet name include symbols? Such as @? I had issue connecting mine but after i changed my router name, it works like a silk. Power converter sound is new to me..

I would not recommend these lights. I have a thread on this board with pictures and commentary. If you are looking for quality. Binder knock offs go with the A8 line which are knock off Radions. The A8 are very impressive. I have only seen the highest end version of the A8 and it put out insane par and a beautiful spectrum of light. How long they last I don’t know but I have seen the light output in person and was very impressed.
