Stray anemone or Pseudocorynactis?

Hi! Any idea what this little one is? I've read several bits about ball tip anemone vs Pseudocorynactis, and see similar pictures labeled as both.

It does appear to be somewhat sensitive to light.

I dont know if it matters, but the only i have added in the last month or so is a bubble tip anemone. I am not sure ball tip or a corallimorph could hitchike on the bubble tip, but this showed up only a couple weeks later and I am throwing it out there for disclosure.

Ball anemone - actually a mushroom, not a nem.

Thanks for the info! And the correction on names; it was late and I was confusing names I read so far.

I was pretty excited to see it in there when I got home last night. But it seems to have gone missing this morning.

I saw another post mention they can be harmful to corals since they are movers, I generally get the feeling they don't move much. I don't have any corals to worry about right now (ironically enough since I lost my one mushroom leather in an algae outbreak in my early months), so as long as it doesn't eat the family's prized shrimp, I'm good (based on some back and forth I've found, I'm not worried about this).

My lights are not very bright, so I didn't think it would be enough to agitate it. Do they retract far enough to hide from the naked eye?

Scratch that. It is the same spot. Just hard to see for tired eyes before coffee.

Does anyone bother to target feed them, or do they generally do pretty well fending for themselves in the flow?

Mine fend for themselves. They prefer shady areas and I've never had a problem with them stinging corals.

No special care. But they can multiply like crazy! I have hundreds but they stay to the shaded sides of the tank. They fight nothing other than other small anemones and corallimorphs. Over time they out competed aptasia and majanos in my system. If you need to get rid of them Aptasia Eating File Fish absolutely love to eat them. Have heard Copperbands will also munch them like crazy but have never owned one. Will post pictures this afternoon. Most hard corals will keep them at a good distance because they out sting them. Majority of my chalices and acans have a solid 6 inch zone where none of them will establish. They also seem to act like pineapple sponges, will setup shop in your overflow pumps skimmer and sump even if ya think they disappear in your display.
