I have a 65g tank right now with the following:

Yellow WG
Fairy wrasse
Tail spot blenny
2 clowns
lawnmower blenny
Paj cardinal
1 Chromi
Many inverts

I will be upgrading to a 4 foot tank soon and I plan to add a bristle tooth tang when that happens.

What is compatible with my current stock in the meantime?

i used to have a flame. They are nice but i could get one that goes after corals

Have owned three, not a single one cared about coral. Sponges were a whole other level for them tho. Haha.

Now the Eibli DA….. yea you might want to skip on!

Royal Gramma. They’re super chilled and add a nice splash of colour. Do be aware that they’re very shy, so if you add too many active tank mates they may go into hiding.

It depends on the coral you want to keep.
Flesh, defenceless LPS (Trachy, Scoly, Acans, Favia/Favites etc.) you’ll want to ignore, but branching or defendable LPS (Hammers, Torches, Gonis) you can keep with angels.
I keep 6 coral risky fish in my tank, and each one I get away with because I follow the same rules with coral - if it’s fleshy and lacks tentacles all day, ignore it.

Here’s some of the coral in my 5 footer, and the 6 coral risky fish that they’re with

I'll second a royal gramma

mixed reef right now- actually about to sell acans as they bore me

is there another wrasse that can go in the tank that will get along with fairy wrasse?
There’s plenty that will work - I recommend looking into these genera, accumulating a list and we’ll sort through them with what will/wont work :)
The genera I recommend looking at are;
Pseudojuloides (Pencil Wrasse)
Paracheilinus (Flasher Wrasse)
Cirrhilabrus (Fairy Wrasse)
Anampses (Tamarin Wrasse)
Macropharyngodon (Leopard Wrasse)
Halichoeres

thank you- so let’s say i get a flasher wrasse- it can get along with fairy? I believe the gender also makes a difference but correct me if i am wrong
for reef risky fish, I am having good results (at the moment anyway), with both a gold flake angel and a flame angel by increasing my feedings to 3x a day with an auto feeder.

Your mileage may vary, but I'm pleasantly happy, especially taking the risk with the gold flake.

Yep! If you get a female, the introduction may go smoother but generally they’re all good either way - it entirely depends on what your current Fairy Wrasse is (if you can’t ID it chuck a photo this way and I can help :))

A yellow tang.
Will also pair nicely with B tooth in the future.

65g is fine for this less aggressive but great rock polisher.
