I don’t have any personal experience with either of these fish, but I voted for the swalesi. From a price standpoint, to me the rubre is just not worth 3X the cost.

Swalesi is better for the price but Rubre is stunning in person with the subtle colouration.

My vote goes to Swalesi after seeing one again yesterday.
