Surface skim/flow help

I’m having problem with my surface skimming, and I’m getting a bit of dust and such on the surface that isn’t reaching my weir, looks like this:

This is my flow setup:

So yeah can anyone help me out with surface skimming? I can’t figure it out no matter what I do dust and such just settles on top and circles without reaching the weir at some point

One thing you can try is angling your return outlets so that they aim towards the surface of the water to create more agitation.
That always helps a little but it never really solves the problem so I just keep trying different directions

surface agitation is very important, to me it seems like you need more, or stronger powerheads to create more flow in the tank.

I haven’t tried increasing the power in my power heads yet, I’ll bring it up to 45 and see. Thanks for the suggestion
