Yes, tomorrow morning, before feeding, I'll run a couple more tests. I have quite a bit of algae starting back up plus coraline and algae on back wall. I'll also rig up a rock that I can rubberband some nori too (wonder if it will snap the band). I also have ulva lettuce that I can try to feed it. Yeah, agree on the par meter. I'll get a better set up and try again Thanks!
The rubberband should be fine. I swap them out after 3-4 cycles of being in the tank (basically as soon as they get too stretchy).

good. I've done it for fish before I got my nori feeder. Never had a urchin, or rather, had one in the old tank and it didn't last long.

I'll try a different mounting and at the height of the light cycle just to see.
My issues seem to be at the connection to the ASM. I would get a silly low reading, disconnect the sensor from the ASM and reconnect it. Now I have a value that is 3 times the previous value.

Ugh. I only played with it briefly. No lfs to borrow a par meter from

What's a b'day party without gifts! I didn't plan for my livestock to show up on my tanks b'day but what a nice deal lol's. Remind me to NOT have 4 shipments arrive on one day! Poor Alexa was going nuts with all the timers I had going.

Treated the tank with prime to make sure nitrates won't bother anyone new! Also added a drop or 2 to each bag

I've seen the court jester goby--small! As is the royal gamma. She peeked through the rocks. And I've seen 1 wrasse I think. It is getting bullied by the staghorn damsels and the darwin clowns. Even the flame hawk fish was doing some chasing. Hope it stays under cover until everyone settles. Need to get those damsels out. Will try the trap again. Hope the new kids do okay.

the corals are awesome. Esp the elegance!! Received one mystery frag. no idea what it is. I'll list the vendors . All on frag holders except duncan, acan and elegance. I'll place themover the next few days. Didn't want to distrupt too much with new fish in there.

LA= Live Aquaria
CA=Coral Anonymous
OG=Oceans Garden-got 100 snails and hermits as well
AB=Algae barn-also got pods to start a culture

It's a cucumber! Looks like it might be this species? (pink and black)

And I have some updated info on PAR readings that you, @Sean Clark and I were discussing. When you get a chance check out the latest update on my build thread.

Mine is brown/black maybe with some tan. They sure are ugly... It's up under the main arch on the rock right now. Blends right in

Ugly but effective! The pure black ones are straight sand sifters (not sure about the mixed colors).
