Thanks Rev! I think those were in manual mode with a shutter speed of 1/80, an f-stop of 5.6, and an ISO of 400

Thanks Chris! It's not so much that they're bad looking, but they just spread way too fast. I like having the movement, but the shrooms and GSP sting my SPS and I the anthelia grows faster than I can pull it out.

Lovely pictures, had first gone to the last page of the thread and first picture to greet me was the Mandarian :dribble: I think the more I see of the fish the more I just know that this has to be one of the fish that I will eventually have. I think I can say my fascination with this fish increases the more each time I see it.

Definitely a beautiful addition to any tank, and one of the oldest fish in my tank. We had two storms that resulted in week+ long power outtages over the past year and it took a real toll on my fish population. The mandarin, chromis, damsel, & yellow tang have been in my tanks since I got out of the military 5.5 years ago, but several of the others are realtively new. This is the second mandarin I've ever had and is much more personable than the one I had about a decade ago. This guy loves to "dance" up against the glass to say hello, while my old one would stay hidden the majority of the time.

Thanks M&T! I wish I could get rid of them just due to the fact that they take up so much real estate and choke out the "good" corals. I've been fighting the stuff for months with razor blades, coral sheers, and a laser, but I just can't get them under control. :squigglemouth: Next time I upgrade tanks, no octocorals or ugly palys will make their way into the new tank if I can help it.

Thanks! Carpentry has always been a hobby, but this is the first time I really ventured into anything that I would consider furniture grade. There's several imperfections that bother me because I know they're there, but to 99% of people, they go unnoticed.

Thanks Marvin! I think all of those pictures are of the male because the female wouldn't cooperate with the camera. I'll see if I can snap a pic of the female in the next couple days...

All of thos photos were actually taken with the stock 18-55mm lens but most of the macros are taken with either a Tamron 90mm or a Canon 60mm

Is your 18-55mm lens the IS version? I've got the older non-IS version and it takes no where near that nice of photo. That or I need a lot more practice, lol.

Sorry, never saw this question... the 18-55mm and the 60mm macro have IS, but the Tamron 90mm doesn't.
