Bump and following, I have the same question. I'm hoping to switch from AFR to the TM balling method due to cost. How can we convert and what products should I get? @Hans-Werner
Thank you in advance.

Have you thought about supplementing the all 4 reef with kalk? It’s the cheapest way to go as I’m sure your cost is way up there with 220ml a day! Sheesh..

The conversion is very simple: the Tropic Marin Original Balling solutions have half the concentration each as All-For-Reef. To dose the same calcium and alkalinity you have to dose twice the volume of Original Balling than you have dosed of All-For-Reef.

Original Balling does not contain the trace elements All-For-Reef already contains. The corresponding trace elements concentrations are 50 ml of K+ Elements per liter Original Balling Part A and 50 ml of A- Elements per liter of Original Balling Part B.

@Hans-Werner Thanks for explanation.
Just to make it clear to me: Dosing 220 ml/day of AFR = 220 ml/day Part A + 220 ml/day Part B. Correct or is it 440 ml/day of each ?
Which type of elements to add to Part A and Part B ?
I'm adding Elimi-NP to the AFR. Can I add that to one of the Balling parts ?

@Troylee Thank for suggestion, but I'm already supplementing AFR dosing with CA and NaOh, so I will have to add that on top

Yes that is why I'm turning to 3-part Balling as it should be cheaper.
I started out by 85 Ml/day of AFR but now the corals are growing really well :) Just what I wished for but surprised it is that huge amount of supplement they use

So your conversion, is strictly financially driven? Let us know how it goes...

As the amount of balling to dose is the double as AFR, and trace elements also have to be added, the economical benefit seems not existing. I think the price will be the same.
Part of the plan was to get rid of the additional dosing of CA (day time) and dosing of NaOH (night time).

I undestand 440 ml/day of each
