I currently have a 4 bulb T5 fixture above my nano. Would the ReefBrite XHO Blue be overkill? as im just looking for a little pop out of the corals and to use it as a "ramp" solution an hour before the T5 kicks on. Should i just go with the other blue LEDs they offer? my only concern is if they will do much against the T5 bulbs.
Thanks!

hey fellow reefer,

Don't think its overkill at all as long as you can maiten temp and you acclimate corals to the light you will be fine. T5 and the reefbrites are a very popular option

I have one attached to my ATI and use it to RAMP up and down exactly like you want to do.

sweet! yeah ive actually have been battling temp fluctuations of about 1.5 - 2 degrees F. luckily my office is small with its own centeral air vent. Keeping it cool as the summer progresses shouldnt be an issue. Thanks!!

I have a pair of Reef Brite XHO's on both my T5 fixtures.
They come on a hour before the T5's and stay on a hour past.
The blue pop they add does wash out somewhat while the T5's are on.
