T5/LED hybrid build

got my LEDs in.. just gotta find time to take apart the teck light and figure out how i'm gonna do this..

I've had my LED built for a while now and still haven't wired it all. I'm in no hurry since I don't have a tank yet.......but I will soon!!! Put up some pics of the LED/T5 build as it looks now.

took apart the teck light

its better than i hoped.. i may be able to fit the drivers inside the fixture

but ill have to leave the cover off the driver..

ill have to get some rubber tape to cover the metal box on the driver..

i was also able to swap around the ends to keep the bulbs 3x3 and have the strips where i want them.

Yep, that fixture will be amazing. Definitely going to look nice and clean, and have the best of both worlds.

ok guys since i'm gonna be waiting a little longer for some more parts. ill like some help in ironing down T5 bulb choices.. coming from MH i'm a little unfamiliar with what combo give what.. looking for something around the 14k range because the LEDs should bring me to the 20k

definitely want a 10k and purple bulb..

I'm running a coarl + with 4 blue + and one purple +. It's pretty nice. I don't have a pic cause I'm terrible at taking them.

What is the coral plus? Haven't seen or heard of this bulb. I am running 4 blue plus and 2 aquablue specials in a ATI power module. I would actually like it a little more blue.
