Good morning. I am presently on a ship and it is 16,000 feet deep so plenty of NSW under me. We are in the Bermuda Triangle waiting for the Aliens to abduct us and take us back to the Andromeds system to show me their reef tanks. I can’t reply much from here because my transmissions annoy the Andromedians. Not many Amphipods at this depth. To answer your question about New York. It gets to 100 in the Summet and zero in the winter

So now I am re married as we renewed our vows in Bermuda. We are married 50 years. My wife found this church from New York and called the priest to see if the guy could perform the ceremony. We took a cab there and the church was all locked up but thats another story. A woman called and woke up the priest who was a great guy. He had on these old shorts and put the priest robes over them. My Grand Son Teddy gave my wife away.

My Grand daughter was the maid of Honor and my Son n Law was the best man. My wife was very happy.

I walked the deck of the ship every morning 30 times at 5:30 before the other 6,000 people got up.

I can only take so much Macarana. And this is when we were in Bermuda and most of the people got off the ship. I asked our cabin attendant if he could find me a long rope so I could lower myself off the back of the ship and stick my head in the propeller.

I love This Japanese Doctor

Q: Doctor, I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life.

Is this true?

A: Heart only good for so many beats, and that's it... Don't waste time on exercise. Everything wear out eventually. Speeding up heart not make you live longer; it’s like saying you extend life of a car by driving faster. Want to live longer? - Take nap.

Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?

A: Oh no. Wine made from fruit. Fruit very good. Brandy distilled wine, that means they take water out of fruity bit so you get even more of goodness that way. Beer also made of grain. Grain good too. - Bottoms up!

Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise

program?

A: Can't think of one, sorry. My philosophy: No pain ...very good!

Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?

A: YOU NOT LISTENING! Food fried in vegetable oil. How getting more vegetable be bad?

Q: Is chocolate bad for me?

A: You crazy?!? HEL-LO-O-O!! Cocoa bean! Another vegetable! It best feel-good food around.

Q: Is swimming good for your figure?

A: If swimming good for figure, explain whale to me.

Q: Is getting in shape important for my lifestyle?

A: Hey! 'Round' is also a shape!

Well... I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.

Finally, the Japanese Doctor summed up:

Look mister, l Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Beer in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride my life was"!!!!!

Eat whatever you like because you will still DIE, don't allow motivational speakers deceive you.

1. The inventor of the treadmill died at the age of 54.

2. The inventor of gymnastics died at the age of 57.

3. The world bodybuilding champion died at the age of 41.

4. The best footballer in the world Maradona died at the age of 60.

BUT

5. The KFC inventor died at 94.

6. Inventor of Nutella brand died at the age of 88.

7. Cigarette maker Winston died at the age of 102.

8. The inventor of opium died at the age of 116 in an earthquake.

9. Hennessy Cognac inventor died at 98.

How did these doctors come to the conclusion that exercise prolongs life?

The rabbit is always jumping up and down but it lives for only 2 years and the turtle that doesn’t exercise at all, lives 400 years.

So, take some rest, Chill, stay cool, eat, drink and enjoy your life.

You will still die.

Paul, That made me laugh. The reason is that is very close to my own experience. In 2004 my wife had a serious car accident. Her main problem was pain in her knees, especially the right one. She seen one specialist after another.
In the meantime we were going back and forth with the insurance company to pay for her treatment. They required us to see one of their doctors and after telling him of the different specialists and procedures she had up to that point he replied in exactly the same way as your story "Oh no, you don't want to keep seeing different doctors they might find something."

Mijan in a few weeks I am going for a shoulder replacement. I told the surgeon this will be my 33rd surgery. He asked
"are you going for a record?" I said "No". But if you guys would do it right the first time I wouldn't have to have it done so many times. I had about 7 shoulder and 7 knee surgeries. I said, " what did you use, Home Depot aluminum toggle bolts from China"? Whats the matter with Gorilla Tape?

Hey @Paul B how deep is the sand bed in the display portion of your tank on average?
I don't use sand, I have dolomite gravel about 2" deep or a little less.

I haven't changed any water since February and I am not a big water change guy but I want to try to collect 40 gallons and change it tomorrow. The last change I filled the tank 100% with ASW. I don't like that stuff and want to start putting back NSW. I used the ASW to try to eliminate the photosynthetic sponge I had covering everything and I have not seen any of it since then so I "assume" and hope it is totally gone.

After the change I have dinos growing all over the place and I am hoping the change to real water will do something to eliminate it. Of course it may make it worse.
