134 Canadian names on the wall in Washington , 300,000 joined the US Army .I did see some Aussies in VietNam. I don't remember any Canadians, but they may have been there somewhere.
I wasn't in WW11, so I don't know exactly who was there with us.![]()

My wife watches American soaps on Sky TV Chicago fire and lots of others I don'tknow what they are called. I don't as I have no time for them. I watch documentaries some sport and little else. This is true, but for the life of me I can hardly understand "youse" guys.
We watch a few British TV shows here and I need a translator for much of it. We also have a lot of TV stars who somehow hide their British accent and play Americans. They do it so well that I can't detect any British accent. Do you have any TV shows there who feature Americans and they have a British accent?
For example, we had a doctor show named "House". (Hugh Lauri I think) I forgot the name of the actor, but he spoke perfect American unless he was interviewed or something. And another doctor show named "The Good Doctor". When he spoke British, He sounded like one of the Beatles.
I like most of the "Doctor Who", shows and my wife watches "Call the Midwife" which is filmed in England somewhere.
One of my favorite shows is "The Repair Shop" which I watched all the episodes more than once and I used to watch the Great British Baking Show because I like to cook. (and because I am very Manly, I bungee jump after each episode)![]()

Yes if course how bad of me to forget the other countries including but not limited to the commonwealth. They all played their part. My sincere apologies for not mentioning them earlier.Pardon ME ? Sorry to hear that Paul, it must be a worry for you. I hope you get your arm strength back soon.I am recovering well but still can't move my right arm much and it is still very weak. I can't yet even snap on the seatbelt on my car.
Last night I heard a big crash. I ran in the master bedroom and my wife fell on the tile floor. Her walker also fell making the big crash. This is becoming a common occurrence now and due to my surgery, I couldn't even help her. I would normally drag her to the bed where she would put her arms up on the mattress and I would pick up her legs to throw them on the bed.
Of course I can't do that now.![]()

Crying shame Paul, many suffering from combat mental illness. We have lots of charities for ex vets with millions in the bank CEOs on mega salaries, Shameless and disgusting. We also did the same thing here Atol. Now I think we threw them out of those hotels but we still have thousands of homeless Veterans on the streets.
Supposedly we still have 32,882 homeless Veterans here.
Read a Book about Sir Douglas Bader. It is a story of a RAF fighter Pilot who lost both his legs showing off for a girl before the war , and because of the war got back in and was a wing Commander made up of strictlyYes if course how bad of me to forget the other countries including but not limited to the commonwealth. Just a note, the UK did stand alone in the battle of Britain against overwhelming odds. Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.
I know alot about sir Douglas there is a very good documentary maybe more about him..he was behind a changed in tactics and his controversial big wing tactic.Read a Book about Sir Douglas Bader. I'll buy one!the tank looks very healthy. all the fish are active and happy looking. i have been feeding my whteworms yogurt and they doubled in numbers so i can give more of them to my fish. i have a lot of large pieces of codium seaweed floating around beause i need 2 hands to secure it.
i also have large strands of nusience algae growing mostly in the back.. i normally suck that out with my diy canister filter.
my neighbor came over to help with that and it has been runnng for a few hours so the tank is crystal clear and soon he will remove it to clean.
i may build another one of those and give it away just to get an opinion on its use. i dont think i will go into business or anything but if i do, i will advertise on here. or maybe i will just give them away.
i dont know how anyone can be in this hobby long term without this type of maintenance tool.
Thanks To Paul , and all who served to keep Democracy Intact , and help those who are ignorant of what that actually means be educatedHappy Veterans Day and thank you to all who have served!
