Sorry to mess up this thread with a fish questionSomething weird is going on with these Dwarf Waspfish. I have had a pair for a few years, and for most of that time, they hid in caves in the back and very rarely came to the front. They were very hard to feed, as they were too shy and never did both of them venture to the front at the same time.
I had to target feed them, and each one would only eat about once a week
Now both of them stay in the front and will eat almost every time I feed them. I give them pieces of clam and live earthworms, and they will suck the food right out of the baster thing I made. They actually bite the thing when I put it near them.
Normally, my other fish, especially my filefish will steal the food instantly, but now they push him away and get the food.
I think they are going to spawn but I am not sure.

, but have you noticed this kind of behavior change with other fish when they started breeding? I have a pair of watchman gobies where would sometimes not see the smaller one for a month at a time. Then I suddenly saw it and it was almost as big as the other and out constantly. Now they are always both out most of the time and very active. My cleaning lady swore she saw them doing the nasty last week. I can’t see into their cave to figure out if there are eggs (aka free fish food).
Good luck Paul, it's a difficult time for you both. I know any decision you make will be for the best. Largish tanks can be difficult to maintain as we get holder and other priorities arrive. I did a job for a neighbour a few days ago. I built a storage unit inside their bay window and am suffering with my back with being on my knees with all the ups and downs.Im not sure how long I will keep my tank going. My wife is declining every day and we go to more and more doctors and PT people. Today we have two to go to.
Due to this my time is very limited. I am looking into a devics that lifts patients from the floor when they fall and their are many. I hope to order one today.
This bryopsis or whatever type of algae is taking over my reef. I have a 5 gallon set up and I am using Fluconazole as a test. Tomorrow is two weeks and I don't see anything dying yet.
If I get time, I may try something else but I will first let this stuff go for another week. If that doesn't work, I may test something else. I will see.
Thanks Paul. It's what's underneath that makes it what it is.Very nice my friend

Hang in there Paul. Those patient lifts were a Godsend in the nursing home I worked at once upon a time. They had the big ones, but I was just poking around on Amazon and it looks like there are some good home options available.Im not sure how long I will keep my tank going. My wife is declining every day and we go to more and more doctors and PT people. This Monday we have two to go to.

Getting some in my wrist two weeks from now. Have to see about a foot and shoulder next. Then with any luck I'll be good for another few thousand miles
Did a quick check Look at Keen Durand II , Danner Mountain Light II both these models are made in the US others may not be , Truman , Schnees's ,Thorogood all made in the USI am looking for a high hiking boot because I am having an ankle issue due to breaking my leg and ankle many years ago and it filled with arthritis. I don't want to stop my morning walks because I do that for health, but it is getting increasingly difficult due to this.
I already had cortisone shots in the ankle but it didn't do much as it is too far gone. Besides this small affliction, I am in perfect working condition and most of me works perfectly.
I have 2 other hiking boots but I need something that goes over my ankle.
Something like this:

Those are almost perfect but I think they are from China so I won't buy them. It doesn't say where they are made so i know they are not made in the USA.
If I can find something similar I will get them. There is a pair of very similar, American boots that keep popping up as an advertisement but that ad disappears in 30 seconds and there is no where on the ad to order them. But I will keep trying.
Very Sad to hear that . I have posted in another thread that I am thinking of pulling the pin too. However some people gave me some very solid advice as to work around my issues. You are a DIY guy . Just give it some thought. Try to stay in the light . I know it must be tough when you feel helpless not being able to perform magic for your wife . I only have to fight not feeling sorry for myself . Much EasierIm not sure how long I will keep my tank going. My wife is declining every day and we go to more and more doctors and PT people.
