Probably sexy shrimp. And maybe a goby or something?Agree it seems like the tank is cycled, now what? What is your intentions for this tank? Its a little small for fish.....
For most goby species I think it's recommend to have at least a 10gProbably sexy shrimp. And maybe a goby or something?
Frogfish will probably eat the sexy shrimp though.Frog fish might fit and remedy for that 50 ppm nitrate likely best served dosing carbon although macroalgae would solve it naturally if intention remains to go plants. Might want to also consider photosynthetic sponges for some color and functionality. I'm heavily leaning that way. That frog fish would likely blend it depending on species kept.
In the 80s reef meant live rock and inverts plus fish. Some CUC seem entertaining such as zombie snails (nassarius) and who doesn't like a red scarlet hermit or smaller versions of that. Lots of options but not many with fins. Although mollies and guppies can be converted with guppies better fit for just 5g. Perhaps let them get established then add that frog fish who will predate on that unable to hide amongst the macroalgae such as dragon's breath or that blue thing I always forget it's name.
