Hi there guys. I have been a member for awhile an just getting things to gather an just have a few questions/concerns now that I have figured out the direction I would like to go. I am getting things set up to start putting corals in the tank an wondering if I need to change some things or just replace them all to gather.

Current set up is :
125g tank
2 aqueon 1650gph powerheads
Instant ocean skimmer
Aqueon proflex 4 sump
800gpu return pump
2 36" atinic 36 watt
Aqueon led optibright 48/54" light

Current livestock :
Niger trigger
Foxface rabbit
Sgt major damsel
Volitain lion fish
Snowflake eel
Bta nem
Unsure of the other nem would be nice to find out species

Would like to start with some sps corals to add some color but would like to have things in order so I just don't throw money away tring to figure things out. Would like some smaller fish to but will they be ok with the Niger and lion in there?

Any info or tips would be very appreciated☺

Even with the sump turning over 800gph? I feed 2x per day an do a water change of 20g per week so I guess what should I look into more? Do I have to think bout getting the lion his own tank or other tank for the corals so I don't have the worry?

Just wanted to update a little but on how things are going. All water parameters are where they should be an things are starting to clear in the tank since the sump and filter socks where added. My little nem even started to show himself instead of hiding under the rock. Added a rock full of corals to see how things go since my brother didn't want it any more. Guess this will be my test subject to see if things are ready.

Just wanted to give an update. Sorry been working a lot and trying to help my little brother set up his first tank with internal overflow and sump but hopefull things will have slowed a bit. Anyways tank is doing good and things are getting pretty stable. Just pulled the trigger and ordered the bits to drill my 125 an put bulkheads in will an overflow box instead of my diy pvc overflow. They should be here in the next few days so when I get ready for that I will have to transplant the livestock to my 75g till I can get that finished up. Which brings me to the question of is it ok to use the sand out of my 125 into the 75 with the live rock and summit I use the water to or should I buy new? I don't plan on keeping them in that tank other then to drill my 125 and move it then set it up with new sand and some new rock. So maybe a month (fingers crossed) that it cycles good and things work in my favor.
Other then that I did add a yellow tang and also a sailfin tang after observing them in qt for the last 4 weeks. The coral my brother gave Lee seems to be doing good an growing a bit as far as I can see.
Suggestions on the tank situation would be helpfull. Knowledge always helps.
