looking for a tank upgrade and don't necessarily want/need a sump and stand, which seems to be hard to find nowadays without
going to budget tanks. looking at Fiji cube, seems like a nice tank at a good price. anyone have one of these? looking for thoughts on quality.

that is drilled for a sump. are you wanting an aio or to run it will hob filter or canister?

I do have a sump currently that I would use, and I would build my own stand

I have never had a FijiCube tank (though I've had one of their sumps and a DIY sump baffle kit). I thought their stuff was decent, but the complaint I often hear is that their customer service is lacking if you ever need their help.

I like Innovative Marine, though I'm not sure they sell only the tank not bundled with the rest of the gear.

yea I do have an innovative marine now, bought it before they forced you to buy the stand.
I love the tank but I don't want to be forced to get the stand otherwise id be all over it.
the Fiji is the perfect dimension me.

Off hand I can't think of any of the major players that have an option to buy only the tank. This is something I noticed when I was shopping some time ago, and I really wish they'd reconsider. I think plenty of people want a custom instal as far as a stand, so why not give customers that option? Anyway, following to see if there's any better suggestions, though I don't think you'd be unhappy with the FijiCube, assuming it arrives in perfect condition.

I definitely think companies should let the customer have the option. im sure its a quality tank

I don’t know much about Fiji cube tanks, but Glass Cages may be worth a look. I’m pretty sure you can order just a tank from them. They have a great reputation and will make the tank any way you want it.

yea I looked into them as well. I know they make great tanks but when I enter all the details
for a comparable build the price is just about double that of the Fiji. Fiji seems hard to pass up.

When I was last shopping for a tank (and just a tank, no stand), anything over about 25 gallons required freight shipping that added another $300-$600 on top of the price of the tank

if I check out on SWA the shipping is free, hard to beat. I think ive made my decision

That would be a very good deal without the extra freight shipping

Yes, I like their tanks; they seem very well built, along with their overflow. And my experience with Customer service was good, but it was all via email. Hope this helps.
