Hey needs some advice. So I have a 15 gallon that’s been running for over a year just got done battling a bad hair algae outbreak with the help of vibrant, and now everything is looking great I’ll post pics. But just bought a 20 gallon innovative marine now I’m in the process of cycling it. But it’s a dumb question lol I’m cycling using Fritz fishless fuel and Fritz turbo start I have pond matrix in the back chamber of my 15 gallon that’s been in the tank since it’s been running. I’m thinking about adding that to my 20 gallon to help add beneficial bacteria I’m just hesitant since I just got done battling hair I don’t want to transfer that to the new tank. But since I’m transferring corals over eventually I’m just like screw it lol. I plan on keeping my 15 and turning it into a bubble tip only tank. Should I just transfer the pond matrix so it’ll cycle faster

Move whatever you want over. Just keep the white rock covered by live rock. Keep it out of the light and you'll be fine. Even sprinkle the one matrix over it. I'd just do everything in one shot

I was thinking about adding just the matrix since I have a lot of ammonia in the new tank from cycling.
