I am now officially tankless.

my 55g OMG he's not doing all that tank was taken down last week and is now empty on the back porch of the new house.

the sole surviving molly and probably dead gorgonia or gorainina or whatever are now in the possession of V's daughter for her 10g planted FW tank.

Now V and me have to negociate on where the tank will be setup in the house.

I anyone knows of a 120g 4' tank cheap let me know. It would be really awesome to have the 55g as a planted with a 120 on top.

time to go sulk

done sulking

Do you intend to stack two tanks? Why not use the 55 for a big planted refugium for 120?

Gee someone actually read this thread.

that's a good idea also.

FWIW molly didn't make it.

And all is moot as I don't have a 120g anyway.

If you make your tank aesthetically pleasing to your lady's eyes, I am sure she'll agree to place it anywhere you'd like. You may have to let go of some of your Rube Goldberg's, though.

There are a few people trying to sell their tanks. I hear that Petco is also doing their 1-dollar-per-gallon tank sale. You might consider setting up a smaller tank as SW planted refugium underneath your 55 ? You could also stack two 55's.

If you are willing to go down to Montgomery, gfat is selling his 120 and other tanks.
Here's his posting:

"120 AGA RR (dual overflows)
AGA 'oak' stand
Glass Cages oak canopy
50 gallon glass cages sump (DIY sump/GC tank)
$650 firm

I also have several used skimmers and can probably come up with everything to build a complete system for a little more, if interested (lighting would be 175W MH, and possibly some VHO's).

Hope to have broken down within the next month.

Also have 40B tank/stand/canopy-drilled on back panel. 20L sump-$100

30 gallon stand (whitewashed)-$45

(2)- 75 gallon RR tanks (AGA)- $150 each

Barring unforeseen issues, I will also have the following for sale within the next two months.

125 AGA RR (dual overflows)
AGA 'oak' stand
Glass Cages oak canopy
47 gallon acrylic glass cages sump (DIY sump/GC tank).
$650 firm
