Hi R2R Team -

I'm searching for 2 x used IBC totes (these are $$ new). I found a couple at a good price, but seller is stating they were used to transport liquid latex originally. With a thorough cleaning (hose washdown, soap) make these acceptable for use for top off and salt water mixing?

My first thought is this is not acceptable, but wanted to check and see what the pros thought before I move on from the potential opportunity.

Thank you!

Nathan

Sorry, was thinking about this and then lost track.

Do you know what product it was? Saying latex is like saying a "water solution" without identifying what exactly is in it.

For example, many latex paints have biocides in them.

I expect you can adequately clean it with warm soap and water then lots of water, but I cannot guarantee 100% that it is no concern.
