Tanks temperatures

Hi guys i plan on having a 2 tanks system, a refugium feeding a reef tank by gravity. So the refugium will be higher than the 150 G reef tank.

The 75 G refugium will contain a collection of different macro-algae. A perfect biotope for seahorses . But seahorses are prone to bacterial infection at high temperature and its best to keep them around the 75oF. Since my Reef tank and refugium will be connected via a feeding pipe and sharing the sump , do you think my corals, mainly softies and LPS would suffer this temperature. Thanks for your input.

I think 75 should be fine.

I keep my whole system at 75, not a problem.

I would run a seahorse tank a little cooler around 72. At this temp, many corals will grow slower.

Ok 72oF do you have any corals with them how do they fair?

A temp of 76-79 is a good range, so I don't think that one degree will be a big difference.
