Hello all.
I have a pair of small (2'') engineer gobies that I picked up this weekend.
I knew before the purchase that they were diggers, and had read that other people had experienced them hiding away for long periods of time. For the first 24 hours they mostly swam around the tank. Around 5 hours ago (ish) they both buried themselves in the substrate and now I have a question that I didn't previously consider.
Now that they are buried (no sign of them coming out yet), how should I be feeding them? I normally feed the pair of clowns that are also in the tank a couple of times a day but if the gobies are buried during feeding they are not likely to notice and the food will be eaten by the clowns.
Basically, should I be overfeeding the tank in order for there to be food left over for the gobies to eat at their convenience?
Thanks in advance.
