Pacific East had several shipments last year. Some really, really cool stuff. I bet they will get more again this year. I believe they have an annual permit/quota process to follow. If anyone can get them, PEA will.

Search some of their postings from last year. You will see some exceptional clams.

Looking back, I think their first batch last year was around May. Don’t know if that will be the case this year, but they got in multiple batches last year.

From PEA post last year. We saw clams like this in the early 2000’s but they were always special and infrequent. Then, they were virtually absent from the hobby for 15+ years (at least to my knowledge) except for some gold versions. So happy
to see them again! Always my favorite clam. Hope you get one!!

You better be prepared for a $2000-2500 price tag for a blue teardrop. Most go to Japan and China where people will pay... at least this is what used to happen.

These were one of the first things I fell in love with about the hobby many years ago. I couldn't have a tank at the time for many different reasons. I sure hope to have some one day. Maybe when my 105 gets mature....

Beautiful! How lare are they?
These are wild clams from Australia. They are listed at about 2.5-4 inches. These two is about 2.5 inches. I am awaiting their deliver from Corals.com. They actually sold as "Maxima clams"

I have been trying to get pictures without the Radion LED color artifact. I think i am succeeding with putting the diffuser under the Radion. It block a little light but I do get better picture. There is no question that the color is true or have LED color artifact added on to the animal.
Here are the pictures of the two clams exactly as my eyes see them.
That Acro is Nick’s Purple Passion. A friend gave this frag to me.
