This is how I think of my reeftank, and how the inhabitants act when I go near it. They think every time I go near them its food time, all the time, everytime. Most named by my wife, Susie.
All 6 fish (except for Bob, the blue spot jawfish) converge as a school wiggling around in a 6" by 6" compact box trying to get my attention, bumping into each other along the way. Territorial fish and schooling fish be danged, none of it matters; all of their natural instincts go out the window. They are a tiny school of piranhas,
Willie the Copperband. Not too eager. Trying to have some dignity, and not trying too hard:
Wilbert the Yellow Tang. He does the zoomies around the tank when he thinks its food time (which is everytime):
Madeline, the blue green chromis and Dexter the azure damselfish.
They always school together. Wherever one is, there is the other. This is them as soon as they get the food:
Bob the bluespot jawfish.
Pokes his head out of his hidey hole when he notices Wilbert doing the zoomies; hey, it's food time (everytime):
Goldfinger, the midas blenny
and like Bob, he pokes his head out of his cave when Wilbert does the zoomies, but unlike Bob, he joins the school of piranhas:
Shaka Zulu, the bangaii cardinal
when he notices Wilbert doing the zoomies and enters the piranha school:
Woops. I forgot about Marty as he's fairly new. He is the successor to the original Marty, ocellaris clownfish of 12 years I think. But he's spiritually the same animal. Habits and quirks alike!
