This is my P4 temperature setting. I think my heater is under power (200 w Jager), with total water volume of 125 ish gallon. These days are cold in SoCal and my temp is dropping to 72.5 this morning... I set the temp sensor to reflect an alarm when the difference is 3.6F but I didn't see any email or text. I am sure my email notification is setting correctly. Below is my setting for temp sensor and also the email notification. Do I did anything wrong in here? By the way I put another 100W Jager into the sump and the temp is slowly climbing back. I am also waiting my new 500W titanium heater to be delivered.

No alarm was activated because your temperature did not yet go outside of the maximum deviation of 3.6 degrees.

  • Your nominal value (76.46) and Max deviation (3.6) = Alarm will activate when temperature is 72.86F or below. Alarm will also activate when temperature is 80.06F and higher.

The screenshot is the current temp value and I understand there is no alarm present. But this morning when I saw the temp is 72.5F I still get no alarm... Wondering what's going wrong.

Self test again. I check the email notification and test it and I can receive the notification on both my cell phone text and email.

I then change the temp setting as follow:

I should get alarm when the temp is lower than 77 - 3.6 = 73.4 F.

But I didn't receive any... The P4 front display didn't show up alarm either. Something is wrong...

Updated. While messing the max deviation on the temp sensor I found something interesting. I typed 1 F in the max deviation on the temp alarm section the system automatically changed 1 F I input to 1.8 F. If I put 2 F it changed to 3.6 F and so on. It looks like system auto multiply 1.8 F for what your input is. And if I put 1 F (it will change to 1.8 F after the 1 F input), I get the alarm. But when I input 2 F (actually 3.6 F) no alarm triggered...

@Vinny@GHLUSA @Marco@GHLUSA do you know what is going on for this?
