Sooooo is @Tenecor Aquariums out of business? They were just posting very actively a few months ago…website still shutdown. No official announcement. And every thread started by them has been deleted.

@revhtree is there anything you can share about tenecor?

Pretty sure they are gone. I have their phone number and it no longer works. I got their phone number back in may because I dislike doing everything through email I get very long winded to explain stuff. See what I mean.....
Talked to them once got a quote and said great end of the year to beginning of new year I will be ready to start the project. They said looking forward to hearing from you.......

Ya their communication was bad. No phone number is a red flag to me.

Still crazy they just vanished, especially after how involved in the DIY section they were.

I mean the owner or who ever was active on here posting the diy stuff was telling people to glue the acrylic tanks up with silicone! That told me a lot about the company.. lol

I contacted them about a custom tank about a year ago. They told me I would hear back in a few days. Never heard from them again.

You can’t run a business if you can’t fulfill orders. Tenecor was shady the first time they went out of business over a decade ago, and they were shady this time as well. Apparently shady AND incompetent unfortunately. It’s too bad, they had an interesting (theoretical) lineup.

I feel bad for anyone that loses a business, but holy cow were they terrible communicators. It’s also not all that ethical to delete all of the how to videos. There is absolutely no reason those couldn’t be left up. Bad business practices all around. Petty and shady.

They didnt used to always be like this .. I used to run several stores and had great luck with custom orders and communication in their heyday.. Somthing changed.

Agreed. They were actually super communicative with me a little over a year ago. I wonder what happened to just make the drop off the face of the earth
