Well in the process of setting up this tank now so might as well join. plan on starting cycle may 23

Tank- Mr aqua 17.4 gal
It's going to be bare bottom with vida rock

Light- build my led 24" 14k led

Equipment-
Vortexh mp10
Ac110 with in tank media rack
Tunze 9002 skimmer
Mini 100w heater
Tunze osmolator

Thanks! I am currently in the middle of moving so everything is boxed up! I also forgot to mention ill be using a reef keeper light, mostly to control temp

Thanks everyone! I've been planning this tank for a while but haven't had time due to work, but saw this today and it works perfect since I am setting up my tank in the next few days so decided what the heck might as well try

Progress :) everything (well minus RKL, ac110 and tunze osmolator) is unpacked first time I've ever seen my tank and let me tell you I've heard bad things about Mr.Aqua tanks and this tank is AWESOME!!

Here is the tank currently, cycle has been going for 5 days now using microbacter7 and a piece of raw shrimp, hope it all goes well and doesn't take super long

sorry pict is sideways, and no the skimmer is inside the ac110 and I'm also using the intank media basket

ya that whole black piece sticking above the tank is the ac110, it takes up just about that whole back wall, on the very far right i have the tunze 3152 nano ato the light helps cover that up
Wow I never realized how big the ac110 was if it can fit the skimmer.

Tank cycle officially started yesterday my ammonia was at 1.0ppm and I have cloudy water, I plan on taking out the shrimp and cutting 3/4 of it off and throwing only 1/4 of it back and continue my dosing of mb7 hope it gets done soon! I have 10frags of zoas and chalices waiting!

Mr. Aqua are fun little tanks to use for sure. The vida rock looks awesome!
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
