We had to send ours checked by the University of Heidelberg in Germany for one of their research projects.

Here are their results.

The Evolution factory has their own testing equipment and software, its very expensive and not something the end user can test for unfortunately because of cost.

what is this seneye ???? i heard others talking about it .....can it be used like the apogee par meter ??? is it water proof ??

click on the link fox...its a probe that sits in your tank and connect to either a wireless router or a dedicated PC via USB....and takes a number of different readings including PAR, Kelvin temp, Lux, temp, PH, No3....sounds too good to be true...mainly because its inexpensive and everything else I've researched you are talking starting at $800 for a handheld point and shoot gun

Ressurrecting an old thread....

Anyone ever try one of the Public Labs spectroscopes (needs to be calibrated in a real lab apparently?) or one of the handheld analog scopes like the one I use? I definitely recommend at least the handheld!

CJO?

I don't have an adequate camera to get good, accurate photos from it (need to remove/disable the >650nm IR filter and color-correction at minimum) but I did post these photos a while back - around the time of this thread, actually - to give people the idea of what you can see with it. I did a B&W conversion of each one to (hopefully) show relative wavelength intensity a little better.
