Thank the good Lord...

I am an Eagles Fan
Not sure what to think about it
Too Freaked out at the Moment
we lost tonight to the Patriots Akers missed a FG with min leFt
our backup Qb Cobb did get hurt this last week so maybe it is to solidfy that part of it
Aj Feely I suspect is gonna get his walking papers

I dont think anyones personal choices on their own time should be any business of thier employer so long as it doesnt affect the job.
I would sign him, he plays alot better than I do.

I don't like Micheal Vick as a person but as an athlete he does have talent. It's interesting to say the least. The huge question of course is what kind of shape Vick is going to be in. Andy Reid's offense is not an offense that you just walk in and produce. It's a complex system that asks a lot from the QB. So we'll see what kind of role the Eagles have in mind for him. At the very least, Philadelphia will have the capability of putting some very gifted athletes on the field at any given time (McNabb, Westbrook, Jackson, Maclin, Vick).
So as an Eagles fan I'm happy. We get an upgrade at the QB2 spot and a great athlete for a cheap price.

As a former season ticket holder of the Eagles and fan since birth :) I believe it does have a lot to do with the troubles Andy Reid has had with his own two sons and that he has some compassion but also a man of Tony Dungy's credibility who is putting his reputation on the line for this kids return to the NFL obviously holds a ton of weight. Everybody deserves a second chance and I'm sure most people would agree the football aspect of it just makes Andy Reid drool! You can spread out a defense and throw so many weapons at them now it's a scary thought and who knows maybe the wildcat get's thrown in the playbook now

Electrocuting, hanging, and drowning dogs...the man should rot in prison for the rest of his life.

And no, I am not a member of PETA, just a dog lover.

He should get some of his own medicine, strung up by his ***s and hit with a cattleprod.

Then he could come back.lol

People do deserve a second chance... But what he did was a horrible crime, torturing man's best friend! I think maybe ya'll would see it in a stronger light if he was a more important person, like a government official.

Maybe ya'll would have more of a distaste for him if he was doing something you can relate to like fighting Bettas??? :)

Sorry but I'm an animal/nature freak and can't see how something like this is forgivable with him just saying sorry. He needs to step up and do more.

I agree. If it were you and I we would still be in prison. I think that celebrities and athletes get off pretty easily. I think that it should effect is carreer in every aspect.
For example, if I were a police officer, doctor, lawyer, veterinarian or any other professional such as the ones listed and I done what Vick was convicted of then I would be in prision. Not only that, if I held a position that required a licenses such as doctor or veterinarian I would lose my licenses and never practice again. So, I dont see how his situation should be different.... He is a professional with a conviction, therefore he should get the same treatment even thought he can play ball.
Guess I dont feel bad for someone that abuses animals and then crys over getting a 1.6 million dollar contract and gets to go back to work.
NFL should ban him because its obvious that he has not morals.

The things he did were horrible but I don't see why what he does off the field has anything to do with football.

This is the problem with professional sports. Having two sons, ages 14 and 10, for me it matters very much what these idiots do on there own time. I try to teach my sons that you need to be a good person in every facet of your life. Legally, yes I understand that he did his time blah blah blah, but I also have the right to not want to watch him or patronize any team that chooses to employ this dog killer. In the end he will have to answer for what he has done to only one.

After this all happened, my son had a Micheal Vick football and he took and threw it in the garbage without me saying anything to him. Made me feel proud.. He gets it.
