Umm.. no. Not sure what it is but to me, left over turkey just has a funny taste. I'm good with one day of turkey a year!

For the reason you cover it when you put it in the fridge. Always leave all food uncovered until it is cold, same temp as the fridge and then cover. Putting hot, warm, room temp product in the fridge covered starts the spoiling process. Picture a petri dish that is covered, little drops start to form at the top of the dish. Same thing happens when you cover food that is warm, hot, room temp, moisture starts to collect on the wrap, top, lid. That is bacteria forming and it drips back into the food and starts spoiling the food. Same thing when you bring home the togo containers. un cover them.;)

Don't do leftovers except for the cornbread stuffing that I crumble into cold milk!!!;)

Bacon grease on a griddle and cornbread fried like pancakes!
Left to be cold over night and get up, put a glass of milk in freezer until it gets that ring of frozen milk on the edge and then crumble!! Nothin' Better than that!!

Got em thawed and brining today. Tomorrow, they'll be seasoned and left to sit in fridge. Wednesday, they hit the peanut oil. Mmmmmm. My buddy hooking up the turkeys this year as he's always told my coworkers and I he can cook, but we've never seen a plate. Well, we've seen his cooking, just never had any last to bring us some. Lol

I most cases this were people get food poisoning at home.
Also not cooking their stuffed turkey long enough, by not taking the temp of the stuffing, but taking the temp of the meat, using that darn popper thing. By cooking an unstuffed turkey, save time and the meat is moister;)
