Around 14 inches ish, never stays still long enough to get exact size. I’ve got a 3.4m new tank being built for them as we speak👍🏻
Okay, that new tank NEEDS a build thread when it’s done!

I am only start to add corals. A few LPS, brain type, Xenia, Gigantea and Magnifica anemone. All are fine with the angels. (5 flames , 2 Regal and 2 Masjestic.). It is a 320 gal 6 foot tank.

I have a few soft corals, but I don't plan on adding anything other than zoas, xenias, and mushrooms, which are my favorites. I'm planning more angels, maybe 3 or 4 more, but I want to take care of those corals too.

I also have mushroom too no problem. I used to have a lot of SPS, but over the years I go for more interesting things, which are the behaviors I f fishes.

That works for me too, my bicolor angel has eaten a couple of pieces of paly although not completely but I don't mind that much, in the end I prefer to keep my angels happy so I'm planning on adding some when I move everything to 150 gallons.

I have had harem 3 flame angels for a few years. I’m planning a tank upgrade soon something between 200-300 gallons. I see you have a mix of angelfish in the same tank, would it be possible to mix another harem of dwarf angels if added at the same time? I would like a harem of lemon peels, but dont know if that’s possible.

I think it would be OK if you choose angels that not in the same clade. I think males of closely related angels may fight. In a few years I will let you know if I can keep pairs of Regals and Majestics together.

That’s pretty adventurous and I’d love to see you try it out. Definitely wait for the bigger tank which is what you’re planning. There’s the option to get captive-bred Lemonpeels, Bali Aquarich breeds them and so do Proaquatix and ORA. If you get them as small, captive bred-juveniles from Biota you’re likely getting the Bali Aquarich ones. They say it’s ideal to get a trio with differing sizes (Biggest-Smaller-Smallest) so the pecking order of the larger male and 2 females can be sorted out ASAP, but regardless of what you choose. Good luck. @joseph scott

Ok this is a very bad photo but this guy is doing very well, he's grown a bit, I'm thinking of adding Flame Angel and Coral Beauty Angel but I have to think about it a little more.

@littlebigreef Lit! How long have you had the pair, and how big are they? Did you get them as a pair, or did you pair them up?

I know there’s captive bred ones. Any issues getting yours to eat and compete with other fish?

Hey, I’ve had them together since early July. They’re both wild caught, the larger one came from my friend in May (he’d had her for years) and the smaller one I got in January.

There was no aggression after being introduced. For a very reclusive fish they swim around together, and out in the open, more than either did individually.

No issues with eating. Tank had a fair amount of sponge, rock to pick at, they don’t go after any of lps/sps.

They’re sharing the tank with a PB hybrid, a black tang, mag foxface and a copperband. Everyone gets along very well.
