Turned on lights just this one time. They will not officially come on for another month or two. I wanted to snap a shot since I was able to get two fish out of QT with slightly above therapeutic levels of copper. Fish went in copper October 07 and transferred out on December 07 into a tank with no meds just for observation and taken out on January 18, not to bad of a QT process IMO. I would not try such high copper levels with any other fish but tangs just need prophylactic treatment.

Eventually, I will get an ATO. But right now I am not too worried about it. There is no coral in the tank and I don't even turn on the lights. I am going to try to let the tank stabilize for a few months before turning on lights and putting coral in.
The cycle finished on January 14, 2020, and I am just patiently waiting. I might turn the light on in march.

Ok quick update. All 25 fish are living in harmony. I can't find my six-line wrasse so he was never moved over from my 150. I built a canopy this weekend Started on Friday and got it up on the tank this morning. I used 3/4 birch plywood which was 60 bucks per sheet. I think that is still better than buying a canopy from the store. The canopy is built with a golden oak stain and three coats of waterproof sealant. I still have to make the facade to hide the sump area but I am in no rush. I will be using the same wood and stain color. Here are a few pics of my hard labor. I got a chance to use my Miter saw YAAAY :) Please excuse the blues, I promise I will buy a DSLR camera soon....... well after I get some coral in the tank which is the next phase of this project after I purchase me a PAR meter to see the par in the tank to let me know how much intensity the Radion G4 PRO's will need. The lights
are 9 inches off the water.

So I purchased myself a par meter and I took PAR reading today. I have 5 frags coming in on Tuesday so I wanted to know what the PAR was in the tank. Not to bad though I do have a hot spot. I am sure with slow acclimation I can get something to sit on a 400 PAR rock. I noticed anything 160 and lower is in a shaded area which is ok for those LPS type coral which I don't plan on keeping many. Check below. The Radion G4 Pro's are 8.5 inches off the water and running at 50% with the AB+ program.

Well, I guess I will need a bigger OPS Board. Only then will I do some cable management lol.
What you don't see is there are 2 other MP40's mounted on the tank but coords not long enough to get to the Ops Panel.

I got a notice on Wednesday at 1:23AM. I just so happen to be awake studying for finals. I checked my email and it said.........

message.JPG

I thought about it for a a very long time. By 1:45AM i had purchased. Apparently I also got the last or maybe only 2 month supply they had because it said out of stock after I purchased. By 8AM they were out of stock with the trident. The old adage good things come to those who wait finally pays off. I am happy. I love one-day shipping with these guys :)

Yes there is 1 out of the 10 who will chase all the others if they come near his space. What's his space you ask? Any area he is. I am getting ready to order 10 electric Blue soon. I am waiting on the price to drop back down to normal.
