What is the fastest growing coral in your tank and when did it begin to take off after introduction?
I’ll go first, my fastest growing coral in my nano is my Acropora yongei. Now that’s saying something as I have GSP, Ricordea Florida and Yuma, green rhodactis and a blue discosoma. My Acropora yongei was introduced around 2 weeks ago, I fed it for the first 2/3 days and then stopped. Although it’s not a HUGE amount of growth, this coral definitely shows growth it didn’t have when comparing it to photos from 2 weeks ago.
Here’s a photo from I think the night it went in, possibly the morning after.

And the same coral from just now.

So far its currently my kenya tree,
I bought it for like £20 at my LFS

I bought this on the 19th of December 2021, plced him here first of and eventually i moved him ontop of the cave area that the clownfish had

This is the tree ontop of the clownfish cave (before i swapped the cave for a new rock formation (that i almost f****d my tank system up for)
Screenshot_20220515-111450_Gallery.jpg

And now the final photo for this comment the final position of the kenya tree ontop of the rock stack where the hermit crab and bumblebee snails use it for a nice blanket.
Admittedly its in higher flow then I wanted but i needed to add flow otherwise it'd caused a deadspot in tank and all the poop was gathering there

Kenya trees are stunners, and the size of that coral (Colony?) looks like it could be a showpiece!

Its 2 Kenya trees that are attached to the inner half of a mussel shell (has the chrimson coraline algea on aswell)
But i wouldnt say its a colony its only as big as an Xbox controller (best universal thing to gauge size with lol)

It's probably a tie between my TSA Death Spiral monti and my pc rainbow frag. The monti has started to plate out and the pc rainbow has fully encrusted its base and started branching after a month of getting comfortable.

The PC rainbow is another one of the acros I’d love to have. Great to hear it’s a relatively fast grower too.

It's also very hardy. Shrugged off .3 phosphates no problem along with 11 dkh. The hobby classics get good results in a variety of systems :)

Got any photos of it?
Definitely looking into the older/classic Acros for my Nano.

That's crazy! You sure your significant other didn't swap in the colony after the frag died??
Thing grows like a weed. The first month or two it was like you could see new nubs and branches ever other day. I have to pull anywhere from 15-25frags a month to keep it from growing into the glass. Ive actually been thinking about pulling it and letting it re grow from the encrusted base so the other corals get a chance to catch up!

If you click on my build thread badge ive got progression photos of the tank in the first post. Started doing that at about month 2 with the birdsnest and you can see in the more recent photos its shape change from having to be trimmed.

This is a coral weed. Elkhorn montipora. I removed it from my 120 as it grew faster than anything else to the point of being overgrown in a short period of time. Plus it was very brittle. I think if I thought hard enough it would break. That said it grew in places I could not reach throughout the life of my system.

This is it when I got it. I'll take a pic of it currently when I get home
The greens on the frag plug are stunning! Really go nicely with the yellow and reds further up the coral.

I have multiple SPS frags of various colors and the frag plugs have the same green encrusting what is this exactly? Green coraline or is it part of the coral that has not developed its true color yet?
