Fun fact, replacing my bay window that is sagging with a fish tank (glass cages) of equal size as the window is $1500 more than the window. So there's that to ponder.
I’m sorry; what’s to ponder?
Oh I guess the bay window doesn’t have ongoing expenses.

along with: the bay window is pushing the budget, not sure how well the window insulates, window cost is with installation where I'd have to do the tank myself.

But I like where you're heads at.

The cories were oddly hard to find, angels kept bombing me (they're probably hungry).

And of Bella. She was sold as a female, I have doubts...

I would say is either a fantastic butterfly specimen of a female or definitely a male. Wait for the bubble nest to be certain I suppose...?

My bet is the Betta is a male. Pretty though I tend to like the blue/purple the best.
While I'm in agreement with you, there have been some VERY showy female Bettas, they are just few and far between.

The tail was a lot smaller when I got it. I've seen a bubble nest, but a quick search indicated the females can make them too. But I think it's a boy.
