The Mediocreef

What are the small fish in there?
Rummy now and black neon tetras.
Because why??? (If you aren't to that stage yet...you eventually will be...and will then understand) 🤣
Soon. But first, the picture is waiting for the ferry, the quote on it.

The tank is trucking. I think I'm on a monthly scraping of the glass and a quarterly water change. Phos is kinda high ish, 0.88. Alk is meh, 7 dkh. Trates are 2 maybe. Turf algae needs to chill; pulled a bunch out a week ago. Caught 6 rose btas.

They're very different people...

Also, discus are (should be) coming this week!

Thirty days since any updates. What's new and different? What's happening? What's shaking?
No idea. I've been out of town for 9 days. At this point anything could have happened.

Last I saw the reef was as it had been, trucking along. I'm in the market for a new tank; same footprint but something I can plumb a filter on to. We're about a year and a half into the temporary set-up.

There were 6 discus in the fresh water. That happened a week before leaving town. Pictures probably this week.
