The doctor has given me two months to live. I’ve chosen August and December, because I like summer but don’t want to miss Christmas.

I did but wanted something premade what the heck is time. I should have known better
I make mine for about 12 bucks in parts. All 5-12v dc. If ever an issue it doesn’t involve anything high voltage.

I use two floats and a relay and a 12 volt power supply. I buy 12 volt pumps off amazon. I guess I will go back to that

I have been using 5v cat fountain pumps. They push 4’ straight up at a trickle. My ATO for my 180 uses one also, but my ATO tank is in the stand. Still has to push water 4’ over and 2’ up. Works great and you will never hear the pump.

Just me checking in. We were planning on riding out Laura, but the models this morning did not look good and the cone narrowed around us. Then at 11:00am our city issued a mandatory evacuation, saying it was not out of the realm of possibility that the storm could reach a cat 4. So, since we were already prepared to bug out, we left around noon. We are in Natchez, MS about three hours northeast of Lake Charles. We beat all the traffic out and had a quick trip. Camping out here until we get the all clear to head back.
