He popped off at the orthopedic office and I reminded him they could do a body cast in the same appointment. The nurse was sweet and said "yep" and btw, your mom was right about everything she told you to do. She has 5 boys at home.
Here is an example when a child does something and the parent, or parents, do what is natural. Parent. My better half being a bed side nurse in the PICU sees both sides of this when parents parent and some don't. It is, well, rather sad because you can connect that to a lot of the larger issues today in the world not related to C19.
Parents parent.
Families support.
Politicians govern.
So much wasted energy is spent on things that are non productive such as protesting on a field, playing multiple anthems when we are trying to be united, half in the locker room, half on the field...yet not one dang dime is spent on a commercial to educate listening to authority or how police and communities can interact and respect one another.
Sorry to get side ways here but it all to me at least fits together. Parents and families parent, teach, and love. When that doesn't happen we end up in this mess. And the simple fact "he popped off (which I am guessing wasn't even probably that bad)" and a normal corrective action or talk probably resolved the issue.
I'm sure I'm making this a bigger issue than need be and I also threw in Thurs.NFL (which I didn't watch due to my own protest of politics and sports) but in my crazy brain it all seems to zero back into the family and missing values by some which no one wants to address...
I'm chit chatting and I probably shouldn't be.
Edit: I'm going to go drink some Kool-Aide and not the kind that Rev Jim Jones offers...
