My boy was never going to live to be old but he loved lights and smells, I made him a patio area with a lavender hedge, he loved the light through trees! :)

Meloxicam. Doctor has to prescribe, but non=narcotic and non-drowsy.
Tylonol Arthritis also good along with heat rub and ice pack, then heat pack back and forth.
