Good morning all.

@Fin did you get cable and internet back up?

Nope. The mayor and at least one state representative are about to run our cable provider (Suddenlink) out of town. They had no recovery plan in place. Many businesses that depend on the internet have no service. The Suddenlink CEO had a press conference here (at the demand of our mayor) Last week and stated that it would be mid-November before they would have service back to 100% of their customers. So it is anybody’s guess as to when I will get service back. The cable is still laying in my yard so it is pretty easy to see I have no cable.
Unfortunately for me, I have TV, internet and phone all through Suddenlink. So I have no land line either. Oh, and they are still billing everyone too. Crappy company.

I also want to know, there is a small piece of kit that I believe helped save some things, we need to talk oxydators people, think a two week air supply! ;)

It’s looking a little better. All of the toadstools made it. A duncan and a frogspawn are still alive. Both lost a lot of color. I am just circulating water with a couple of Micro Jet powerheads and a heater right now. The sump needs to be emptied and cleaned out. I just haven’t had the chance to get that done yet.

I’m ok. Thunderstorms today so just chilling out. Looking out my living room window I can see that my Crepe Myrtle tree is leaning over more with the wet ground and the weight of water on the leaves.

is she uprooted? if not stake in ground,heavy ratchet strap,on 45 may take a couple years,have done works to straiten back

I plan to keep those in my tanks from now on. I don’t know if it helped in this case, but definitely didn’t hurt.
