Well it didn't bubble up like new skimmers do no over flow and it's a good quality build so far its doing what its supposed to do I'm happy with it.

How's the noise level on the skimmer? I just got one of those Skimz algae reactors. Any luck with it yet? Thanks!

It's not noisy you trust me you wont be disappointed...And the skimz algae reactor its good I like it cause compared to other ones you dont need extra hoses and pumps it's all built in and it saves you space and the first mint I used it chaeto was grew so it works that was on the red sea250 I moved it over to the 425xl now.

Good to hear about the noise level. How long are you leaving the reactor lights on for?

I’ve heard the AC pump is noisy— some people measured the decibal level and it was significantly higher than their DC skimmer it replaced...

It's set up to turn on when the dt lights are off

How long is every ones skimmer taking to produce good skimmate. And where do you have yours set at

Mines been running for 9 days and it dont really skimm much. I have the small bubbles half way up the cup. Maybe it just needs more time to settle in??
