It has it all... a rough beginning, a savior to bring to full potential, and a glimpse of hope with the update photo. Along with a little side story to drive the narrative.
Does the fish pull through the struggles and live happily ever after?

You are in luck. The story does continue.

So the fish is still doing well, and it's now in a permanent home. I believe it's a 140 gallon 6 foot tank where it continues to regain colour.

It's a small miracle the fish is doing well and in a somewhat appropriate sized tank. Keep in mind this is the middle of no where there are no fish stores and very few reefers. I haven't seen this tank personally but if I ever get a chance to check it out I'll bring my slr and get a decent shot to add to the comparison photos.
