Tang gang chowing down!!

I lost one more anthias - i believe one has established himself as the male. The color is much deeper than the other two.

Today i hooked up my DOS to start with saturated KALK- so far so good, but already up to 1400ml spread throughout the day. I need to up it to 2000ml to reach optimum stability. Im also not sure how well saturated my mix is. Going to take a little bit to fine tune things.

So far my acros all have PE - and seem to be happy! Im totally focused on stability vs chasing numbers

Started dosing kalk and it has been great! Working to keep levels stable as i think my algae growth is greatly impacting element uptake!

Happy some sps frags seem to be encrusting on the plugs!!

After losing all of my anthias - I wanted to round out my stocking - i added a beautiful male leopard wrasse and a fowleri tang. They are both doing really well so far!

I think my anthias were not eating enough as I was feed just once per day. Makes me sad because they were beautiful little guys.

Picture drop!! Tang aggression killed the fowleri unfortunately, but all is well! Here is a picture drop! SPS is encrusting and growing nicely! Dinos are retreating and coraline algae is forming on the back wall.

Up to 3 liters of saturated kalk and supplementing with rea sea abc as needed. Just installed a co2 scrubber and exhausted the media in 5 days! I am going to attempt to recirculate the air to have that media last longer. PH difference is too good!

Its been a while, but things are going great! Still have every acro I bought from WWC and they are starting to really acclimate and grow!

Started dosing all for reef and it has made my life a lot simpler! Also added a CO2 scrubber that has brought me from 7.6-7.8 PH range to 8-8.2 PH range. Dosing the AFR is heavily dependent on the PH.

On to the pictures:

Just came up on this thread, thinking about getting the same skimmer with the same pump, did this skimmer fit in your sump with the refugium baffle up? This would be a huge help thanks!

Hey! it fits only with no baffle in there - it is a phenomenal skimmer! The Co2 scrubber has made a huge difference in my PH!

Any updates on your tank?

Things are going great! Dialed in my parameters for the most part and have all the frags I can fit! Fish are healthy as well!!

Going to be dropping kalk dosing and moving towards all AFR to pump up trace elements.
